The Neoprene handgrip sleeves are beneficial in helping prevent people from getting calluses or friction burns. For many people who use crutches full-time, hand problems arise from long term pressure and friction. It improves the comfort of the handgrips, as well, adding extra padding to it.
They can be installed and removed easier by applying 70% rubbing alcohol on the handgrip. They can also be inverted, if preferred.
